The Sankofa Museum: America’s Story Through the Eyes of Its People is more than an exhibit. It is a living classroom, a cultural archive, and a catalyst for conversation. For more than three decades, it has traveled across the nation to make history accessible, memorable, and transformative for audiences of all ages.

Visitors experience a museum-quality collection displayed on site, guided by live narration from curator Angela Jennings. Each session includes storytelling, audience interaction, and time for open discussion.

A typical event runs from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM or any five-hour block. Setup requires four hours, and teardown takes approximately three.
Yes. Thirty-five 6-foot tables or thirty 8-foot tables are required, along with two dollies and one hand truck or pushcart to assist with setup.
