This Los Angeles, California,
USA-based alternative rock band treads the same
middle ground as Creed, Matchbox 20 and Pearl
Jam. Songwriter Jason Wade (b. 5 July 1980, California,
USA; vocals/guitar) and Sergio Andrade (b. 17
October 1977, Guatemala City, Guatemala; bass)
first forged a musical partnership in the mid-90s.
Drummer Rick Woolstenhulme (b. Gilbert, Arizona,
USA) and occasional guitarist Stuart Mathis helped
establish the band as a leading attraction on
the Los Angeles club scene, although it was not
until the late 90s that their demo tape finally
came to the attention of the newly formed DreamWorks
label. Their debut No Name Face included the chart
hits "Hanging By A Moment" and "Everything",
two tracks which encapsulated the band's trademark
brand of angsty, melodic rock. Equally balanced
was the follow-up Stanley Climbfall in 2002.
