She may currently be an independent singer/songwriter, but Janine Stange of Long Island, NY has been making some major headway. Knowing the importance of building a foundation, Janine has focused her energy on promoting her contemporary/pop debut: Lifetime Guarantee, for which she has co-wrote and co-produced.
With a string of over 100 concerts, Janine has become a 'breath of fresh air', and has been building a loyal fan base in her region and beyond. In light of the respectable amount of press this artist with high standards and strong faith has received, her efforts have not gone unnoticed.
Most recently Janine was selected out of over 500 applicants to showcase at the National Association of College Activities (NACA) Mid-Atlantic Region Conference.
Although not 'officially' released, Lifetime Guarantee is currently in rotation at several radio stations
including XM Satellite Radio's: The Fish. It has also spent five weeks at #1 on Live 365's Bigloo Radio, and nestled in the top ten spot for 13 weeks afterward. Janine also opened for national acts and speakers including: downhere, Dave Lubben, Al Denson, Vickie Winans, Jai Rodriguez, TKA, Jordan Knight, and Jesse Duplantis.
Janine is a spokesperson for 1in9: The Long Island Breast Cancer Action Coalition, and released a CD in honor of her aunt, who was a victim of the disease - to help raise funds for their research.
Janine's musical style is best described as Michelle Branch, Kelly Clarkson & Faith Hill thrown into a blender. Her vocal style has been compared to Faith Hill, Jessica Simpson, Shania Twain, Margaret Becker, and Celine Dion. Most importantly she is able to relate to a wide demographic (young and mature audiences alike). Not a performance goes by where people don't leave uplifted and encouraged. Her songs are fresh, and her stage presence is as endearing and warm as her personality.
