In the fall of 1995, after overdosing
on 72 prescription painkillers, with vodka, Vanessa
German was given a prognosis of 12 to 24 hours
to live. Now, at the age of 26, Vanessa German
is one of the tri-state's most sought after public
speakers. This vibrant, dynamic, young motivator,
weaves a powerful, heartfelt, life-affirming and
altering message with her true to life "
Power " presentations. Ms. German's
voice resonates, calls-to-action, lifts, inspires,

Ms. German grew up in Los Angeles , California
and was a member of the LA Bloods by the age 11,
nothing uncommon for the time. Having witnessed
the death and destruction of so many lives, Ms.
German initiated a change within herself, that
allowed her to come from near death to achieving
heights previously only dreamed of.
Vanessa German attended Los Angeles Center for
Enriched Studies, Los Angeles Conservatory for
the Performing Arts at University of Southern
California , Southwest College , The University
of Cincinnati, and the Los Angeles Theater Academy

Ms. German is the daughter of Sandra German, one
of this countries most famous and influential
fiber artists.
An award winning speaker by the age of 16, Ms.
German's powerful voice and message has been heard
at schools and institutions throughout the country.
