| Elijah
Southern, Jr. (better known as “Eli”)
is a native North Carolinian. He graduated
from Walter Hines Page High School in 1989. In
1999, Eli moved to Los Angeles, California and
began his entertainment career. He regularly
performed for audiences at many of the local comedy “hot
spots” and he was also cast as an extra in
two popular television shows, Ally McBeal and Mad
TV. Eli moved back to North Carolina in
2003 and has had audiences laughing all over the
East Coast and Atlanta. Eli is committed
to being a positive role model for today’s
youth. He is concerned about the growing rate of
delinquency among minors. He believes that
as a child growing up you are sometimes inspired
to become something you see and somewhere on the
crossroads of life you often become something you
don’t want to be, so therefore he shares
this with you so that it may encourage you.
“To become what you inspire to be you
must first desire not to be what you have become. For
in life your dreams and goals are not dead until
you give up or die.”
