Giulia Rozzi
Giulia Rozzi is a NYC based comedian, actress, and writer raised in Boston by two adorable and obnoxious Italian immigrants and grew up (sorta) to become an adorable and obnoxious young lady. Her very personal, blunt, and animated comedy has earned her the honor of being a Boston Comedy Festival finalist and two ECNY “Best Female Stand Up” nominations.
She has appeared on MTV, Vh1, Italian MTV, CNN, and Jimmy Kimmel, and has been featured in BUST, Glamour and Arena magazines. Every month Giulia and longtime friend Margot Leitman co-host the popular and highly-acclaimed sex-themed storytelling show Stripped Stories at the UCB Theatre in NYC, and annually in cities across the country. Her original web series The Message Board has gotten lots of love from blogs like The Frisky, Lemondrop, and BUST.com. She is an alumnus of both the Improv Olympic West (where her first solo show Stupid Foreigners debuted) and The Upright Citizens Brigade improv training programs. She was trained in sketch comedy with the Groundlings, and is currently studying acting with Kelly Kimball of Kimball Studios in Manhattan. Giulia has been seen in ad campaigns for Windex, Ford, iParty, and recently starred in the independent film Party Like It's A Verb.
As a writer, Giulia has contributed to Playgirl, NY Press, Gawker, Lifetimetv.com, The Huffington Post, Shoestring Magazine, and the soon-to-be released book “When My Parents Were Awesome.” She was also a contributor and associate editor for the “Mortified” book series, as well as a co-producer of the hit national stage show Mortified for three years in both NYC and Boston.
